DVF: for whom?

Who is the DVF client? I feel like it’s the hipper Ann Taylor Loft for suburban women. I’m not quite sure why they would want to sell their look that way. DVF has a cool lip design logo–warholian-like print and colors. Very unrepresentative of the branding on the site, the pictures, and the fashion show. Maybe I just don’t know what it’s about. I’d think the print at least has to be somewhat interesting–I’m left unimpressed. Rather impressed by how unimpressive this collection is.

When would I find myself wearing these clothes?

Chloe: Spring 2008 Collection

Lady-like skirts/dresses are signature Chloe, and a reoccuring theme every season. What I found amazing was this black eighties silloutte suit. Pleated-tapered pants! …topped with a three quarter length jacket. Sorbet colors on other outfits depict a primetime ressurrection of the eighties, but this outfit brings a fresh modern twist in black.

Jovovich-Hawk has been known for their vintage inspired clothing. I love her necklace. A strand of pearls and gold letter B. I don’t think it would look as cool in another letter. T for instance. Even if B had nothing to do with my name, I’d wear it.
